Hydrophobic impregnant for stone setts.

Used to create oleophobic and hydrophobic protection on sett surface, and on other concrete bases around buildings (such as ramps, pavements), as well as at filling stations, car repair garages, car parking areas and other pedestrian areas.Prevents the penetration of various types of contaminants into the ground, providing protection against stains from natural and synthetic oils, and lubricants; and when these are formed – it facilitates their removal. With setts – it also improves their appearance, by permanent colour strengthening, achieving the so-called “wet sett” effect.

The product is ready to use; do not dilute with water. Stir well before application. Apply on bases in dry and rainless weather, with ambient temperatures being between +10°C and +25°C. Make a sample on a small surface, in order to enable visual inspection of the colour brilliance effect. During the application, make sure that the product is applied uniformly, so that the background is saturated evenly, and the colour intensity on the impregnated surface is satisfactory. Apply with a painting brush or by spraying. On highly absorptive bases, repeat the procedure in short time intervals, following the “wet-on-wet” method (as long as the base remains wet). During the initial drying phase, protect against rain and contaminations. The base reaches its oleophobic and hydrophobic properties within ca. 24 hours after the application. This duration may change, depending on the drying conditions.

Recommendations and remarks

The product is designed for use indoors and outdoors. The ambient temperature during the application and drying should be between +10°C and +25°C. The optimal application temperature is +20°C. Do not use when the base temperature is lower than +10°C. The specified processing and drying times may be subject to considerable variations under the influence of adverse weather conditions. During impregnant application and drying, the surface should be shielded against rain, wind and excess sunlight until it is completely dry. Surfaces exposed to contamination should be secured; any stains should be removed before dryling.
