Quick-bonding assembly mortar
Used to mount and fix steel and synthetic material elements in bases made of concrete, cement mortars and wall structures, inside and outside of buildings. The mortar may also be used to fill in joints, gaps and crevices in those bases. The product is classified as a quick-bonding mortar, with a compression strength of > 15.0 MPa after 6 hours and > 40.0 MPa after 28 days.
Packaged in 25kg containers.
Preparation of mortar: Empty the mortar package (5 kg) into ca 1.1-1.3 l of clean water and stir until a smooth mass without lumps is obtained. Pour the material into a measured volume of water and stir until a smooth mass without lumps is obtained. Mortar consistency should be selected according to the type of intended works, base and weather conditions. Clearance between an anchored element and the surface of an installation opening should be no more than 30 mm. Attention should be paid so that water is not added in excess, as this may worsen the mortar strength parameters. The mortar maintains its working properties for ca. 5 minutes. Therefore, we advice that only such amount of mortar should be prepared that will ensure its consumption during this time. ATTENTION: During setting the mortar emits heat – be careful during use.
Anchoring: An installation opening at the right diameter should be cut or drilled in the base. The fixed element should be placed in the prepared opening and stabilised so that it cannot be relocated when the opening is filled with mortar. Pay attention so that the element is not relocated during setting.
