PREPARATION
Preparation of mortar: Empty the package (25 kg) into 2,8-3,5 l of clean, cool water and stir until a smooth mass without lumps is obtained. Put the mortar aside for 5 minutes, then stir again. Adding too much water may result in worsening of mortar strength parameters. The mortar can be used directly after stirring and retains its working parameters for ca. 90 min.
Application of mortar: The mortar should be laid in strips, between levelled guide planks. Remove excess mortar, remove the guide planks immediately, and the remaining gaps should be filled and levelled. After levelling and initial bonding, the surface should be smoothened with an EPS trowel. In heave duty and thin floors, as well as those laid on an acoustic thermo-insulating material, steel reinforcement meshes are recommended to be sunk in the floor. Use tools suitable for the intended scope of works and the surface size.
